About LIFE NextFUMIGREEN

LIFE NextFUMIGREEN is a European project funded by the LIFE Program, focused on the development of natural fumigants based on dry micro-spraying technology. This innovative solution allows efficient pest control in greenhouse horticultural crops, reducing the use of toxic chemicals.

The benefits of the project include:

  • Environmental sustainability: Improvement of biodiversity and reduction of chemical waste.
  • Food safety: Treatments that guarantee contaminant-free food.
  • Total efficiency: Technology that makes it possible to reach even the most inaccessible areas, such as ceilings, cracks and corners.

With a total budget of €2,758,921.01 and 60% co-financed by the European Union, LIFE NextFUMIGREEN is leading the transition to a toxics-free agriculture, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy.

About the Webinar

The Research and Innovation (R&I) Webinar on Pesticides and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) will address various topics related to crop protection, including Innovations in pesticides and application techniques and risk mitigation and integrated pest management. As well as funding opportunities in European projects.

The event is free and open to professionals, researchers and anyone interested in agricultural sustainability.
